Little projects and what nots
Yesterday was one of those days when I worked on small things that have been on my project list for awhile. I've had 2 frames that I framed in vintage fabric and hung over the mantle. One is a floral and the other has REALLY special meaning. It's the actual fabric from my brother's boy scout sleeping bag. He's 53 and it was almost thread bare. I've been saving it forever.
Next I put some corn stalks and a pumpkin around the post lantern.
I secured the stalks with an old belt.
This is a print called Serenity by Etsy artist Hannah Gayle. I love mannequins and this one had such a pleasant face that I couldn't resist.
Last night Paige and Randy went to see Breaking Benjamin in Charlotte. Paige had me alter her new Pink Floyd tee. It turned out pretty good.
While they were gone, I worked out in the yard until dark. By now I would be planting ornamental kale, cabbage and pansies but we're until water restrictions. I wish it would rain!!!!
